At the end of each level the game will autosave your progress in that slot allowing you to carry on from that point in the game at any time. Any 'Save and Quit' before the end of a level will only save stud
The Complete Saga wins over on actual story level designs. Skywalker Saga wins on hub worlds, the roster, and graphics. Also you don't have to replay every level 4 or so times to get 100%, so repetition isn't as bad. Both are among the very best lego games ever made, though.
